About this speaker

Dr.-Ing. habil. Matthias Jahn is the Head of the Energy and Process Engineering Department and leads the Environmental and Process Engineering Business Division at the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems (IKTS) in Dresden, Germany. He also serves as a Privatdozent (associate professor) in Chemical Process Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden. 

Dr. Jahn's research focuses on the development and techno-economic evaluation of hydrogen technologies across the entire value chain. His work includes high-temperature electrolysis, Power-to-X (PtX) systems, and the scaling of laboratory and pilot-scale plants to demonstration facilities.

He has authored over 50 scientific publications, contributing to the advancement of sustainable energy systems.
