Dr.-Ing. Frank Dinter is the General Manager of Fraunhofer Chile Research and Director of the Center for Solar Energy Technologies (FCR-CSET). With over two decades of experience in solar energy, he has been instrumental in advancing renewable energy initiatives in Chile and beyond. Previously, he served as the Eskom Chair in Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) at Stellenbosch University, leading the Solar Thermal Energy Research Group (STERG). Dr. Dinter's industry experience includes roles such as Head of Solar Energy at RWE Innogy GmbH and Managing Director of Marquesado Solar S.L., overseeing the construction of the 50 MW Andasol 3 CSP plant in Spain.
